Course information

· The course covers Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading and Grammar and is available at levels from Beginner to Advanced. The price is £200/week.

The English plus specialist subjects include Writing, Speaking and Business and are suited to learners who wish to accelerate their learning.

· The courses are offered at different levels for example Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced and the objectives of the course may vary by arrangement and agreement with Kheiron.

· Students are welcome to study privately at the school - please ask us for more information. We have a dedicated students' room which, if available, students are very welcome to use for study.There are no extra costs.

Leisure programme

· Our leisure programme currently consists of three activities during the week (the price is £50/week). A detailed programme will be emailed on application. We also have Book Club (on Wednesdays 18:00-19:30) which is free. We advertise weekend excursions which are run by Oxford Study Tours and you can book this through the office. We are starting a new football club! Please contact us for more information.

· Teachers will be qualified to CELTA level and will not be training while teaching in each case except by prior agreement of the student.

Accommodation for individuals

· Minimum age for students is 18.
· Lunch is not provided within the cost above and the student would be expected to purchase and obtain their own lunch. There are a number of suitable cafes in the neighbourhood.
· The price above excludes homestay. If you would like us to organise homestay accommodation, please let us know; the cost is £180/week. Homestay is only available for students aged 18 years or older.
· Homestay accommodation with an English-speaking family in Oxford with breakfast and dinner provided each day and with lunch also offered at the weekend excluding days of arrival and departure. Not more than four students will be accommodated with a single Homestay family except by prior agreement with the students.
· We do not organise social activities but are happy to provide information about events and places of interest in and around Oxford.

Certificate of Achievement

· Deposit is to be paid when a student books a place on a course. If this is less than six weeks before the course start date, the full cost of the course should be paid on registering. If you are paying the deposit only, the remaining cost is due on arrival to course. For full details on cancellation see terms and conditions on the on-line application form

· Discounts may be available for group bookings.

Attendance

· Each student will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course (or when they wish to terminate the course). The certificate will sate the student's level of English and their attendance.
· Students must attend 75% of their classes to receive a certificate at the end of the course.
· Course fees: Each student needs to pay for 6 weeks in advance. You can enrol for a minimum of one week.
· There is no registration fee.
· Please note: We may not be running a course that you are interested in at the moment, but please contact us and we will notify you as soon as the course is running.

Absences

· You must tell reception if you plan to be absent from a class in advance. Kheiron will carry over your lesson (i.e. you will not 'lose' your class). If you fail to notify the school or notify the school on the day of your absence, you will be charged for the lesson (i.e. you will 'lose' your class). Kheiron does not offer refunds, unless in exceptional circumstances. We contact students when they have been absent more than once.
